Reconstructive surgery procedures are the mainstay of nearly all plastic surgeons’ work: covering all aspects of wound healing and reconstruction when congenital, acquired, and traumatic issues. Emergency plastic surgery conjointly supports the work of different surgeons, managing complicated wounds from accidents or when alternative surgical procedures. The main techniques involved are skin grafts, tissue expansion, flap surgery, and microsurgery. The abundance of research by plastic surgeons is centered on recognizing blood supply of tissues, wound healing, and scar management, significantly within the management of burns. New techniques and findings from the research are getting used to enhance outcomes for patients.
